Topps produced yet another spectacular card with the 1953 Topps Mickey Mantle #82 card. It's not nearly as valuable as the '52, but is just as rare and I think the artwork is even more beautiful. The 1953 Mickey Mantle card also graces the PSA list of most important cards in the hobby.
Just like the 1952 card, many 1953 Mickey Mantle cards also suffer from poor centering, poor (or at least strange) coloring and print marks due to the printing technology of the early 50's. This card is much more reasonably priced for most Mantle collectors (as compared to the 1952 Topps Mantle), and is thus the cornerstone of many high end Mantle collections.
